LYFT Inc /zigman2/quotes/208999293/composite LYFT -0.48% is currently trading 7.44% above its 20 Days simple moving average and the stock looks bullish. The pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus had forced people to obey lockdown orders to avoid spreading virus transmission. With the relaxation, things are getting better. If it is right to call it a silver lining, people are moving out now, albeit with a fear.

In a recent document where the company released its quarterly earnings, LYFT said that there has been an improvement in the rides that people are taking. In May, there was 26% spike in the number of rides when compared with the April figures. The company has, in turn, also revised its guidance for adjusted EBITDA for second quarter, which the company says that the loss in the line mustn't exceed $325 million, provided that the average ridership in June remains same as the level of May. Earlier, LYFT was projecting maximum loss at $360 million.

It may not have been a very good period for this videogame retailer, GameStop Corp. /zigman2/quotes/203755179/composite GME +3.49% but looking at the long-term indicator, the stock is currently trading 3.40% above its 20 Days simple moving average and looks bullish.

In the short-term, this stock appears a little dicey with sales in the recently reported quarter at $1.02 billion, down 34% from a year before. Notably, the company's business has not just been impacted by temporary closure due to pandemic, but also by protests from George Floyd's killing by Minneapolis Police.

The company had temporarily shut down all the 3,526 stores in U.S. due to pandemic and social stay-at-home orders. Out of these 65% of the locations continued to conduct curbside service in limited manner. In last six weeks of pandemic quarter, the global store fleet remained 90% closed to customers.

At May end the company had opened 85% of the U.S. locations, which had limited customer access, while 90% of international locations were completely opened. However, 100 stores had to be closed again due to George Floyd case, of which 35 stores, the company says, "will be closed for the foreseeable future given extensive physical damage."
