Suez SA said Monday that revenue and earnings before interest and taxes for the second half of the year were above its own guidance, citing preliminary and unaudited results.
Revenue for the second half of 2020 fell roughly 1% on an organic basis, compared with a previous forecast of a decline between 2% to 4%, the French waste- and water-management company said.
Suez said EBIT for the period should be between roughly 670 million and 680 million euros ($815.7 million-$827.9 million) compared with a previous estimate of between EUR600 million and EUR650 million.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization for the second half should stand around EUR1.6 billion, Suez said.
