1. Officially, the UEFA Champions League anthem was titled as "Champions League". Its complete, original version which is about three minutes long was written by British composer Tony Britten in 1992 but has never been released commercially. We have only heard two short verses and the chorus, that contains English, German, and French, three official languages used by UEFA.

2. In the history of the tournament, Real Madrid is the most successful club. The team defeated Liverpool 3-1 in 2018 finals, securing their 13th victory and became the first team in the UCL era to win the title 3 years in a row. The second most successful team is Milan with 7 titles, following is Liverpool with 6 and Barcelona, Bayern Munchen with 5.

3. The UEFA Champions League final is the world's most watched sporting event annually. Especially, the final match of 2012-13 between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich was aired in more than 200 countries. And so far, it has had the highest TV rating, with 360 million TV viewers, including a record of 23,78 million viewers in Germany.

4. The years between 1986 and 1991, English clubs were banned from the UEFA Champions League due to series of hooliganism problems and stadium disasters. 5. With a goal in the 2008 UFC final for Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player to score in three UFC finals. In 2014 and 2017, he scored for Real Madrid. Cristiano Ronaldo is also the only player that scored in two different UCL finals with two different teams.

6. The only player to win the trophy with three different clubs is Clarence Seedorf who played for Ajax in 1995, Real Madrid in 1998, and Milan in 2003 and 2007.

8. In 2005, Paolo Maldini scored the quickest goal in a UEFA Champions League final in 51 seconds. The record was broken 2 years after by Roy Makaay, who scored a goal in little over 10 seconds for Bayern Munich against Real Madrid in 2007.

9. There has been no hat-tricks so far in UEFA Champions League final. However, some players had scored twice. They are Cristiano Ronaldo, Daniele Massaro, Hernan Crespo, Karl-Heinz Riedle, Filippo Inzaghi, and Diego Milito.

10. Any team that wins the UEFA Champions League three times in a row or five years in total gets the right to retain a full-sized replica of the trophy. So far there have been 6 clubs earned this honor, including Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Milan, Ajax, and Bayern Munich.
