House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, the California Republican, tweeted Thursday that he won't support House Democrats' coronavirus bill. He said the legislation backed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the California Democrat, is "not only completely partisan" but also "unworkable." Analysts were watching the reaction of House Republicans to the measure to see if it had any chance of swift passage in the Republican-controlled Senate.
