President Donald Trump speaks at the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

President Donald Trump on Thursday said he took a second coronavirus test this morning and the results were negative.

This is the second time the president has been tested for the virus in the past three weeks.

“I did take a test, I just took it this morning,” Trump said in a briefing at the White House.

Trump was tested with a new point-of-contact test, the White House said. The president said he took it just to see how long it took to reach a conclusion. He said it only took 14 minutes to come back with the negative reading.

The president said it was a much easier test than the first one he took.

“The second one is much more pleasant,” Trump said.
