Factory orders were unchanged in February, after a 0.5% drop in the prior month, the Commerce Department said Thursday. Economists were expecting a 0.2% rise. Durable goods rose 1.2%, unrevised from last week's initial reading. Orders for nondurable goods were down 1.2% in the month. Orders for nondefense capital goods, excluding aircraft, fell a downwardly revised 0.9% in February compared with the prior estimate of a 0.8% drop.
