Dow Jones Industrial Average futures slid 115 points, or 0.5%, to 23,000, while S&P 500 futures dropped 13.10 points, or 0.5%, to 2,547.75. Nasdaq-100 futures slumped 46 points, or 0.7%, to 6,074. Shares of eBay slumped 6% in thin premarket trading -- the online auctioneer's shares took a hit late Wednesday after the company lowered its annual profit outlook. Other tech shares followed the shares lower in premarket trading, with Netflix Inc. /zigman2/quotes/202353025/composite NFLX -4.68% down 1%, Apple Inc. /zigman2/quotes/202934861/composite AAPL -2.83% off 1.6% and Nvidia Corp. /zigman2/quotes/200467500/composite NVDA -5.12% dropping 1.1%. European shares were also taking a hit with the Stoxx Europe 600 index /zigman2/quotes/210599654/delayed XX:SXXP -1.14% down 0.5%. Asia also saw heavy hits, with the Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index /zigman2/quotes/210598030/delayed HK:HSI -1.75% closing down 1.9%. The Shanghai Composite Index /zigman2/quotes/210598127/delayed CN:SHCOMP -2.41% closed down 0.3%. Growth data released earlier in the day revealed a slowdown in China.
