Vinci SA (DG.FR) said Wednesday that a joint venture between its Spiecapag subsidiary and Macro Pipelines Inc. has signed a C$900 million ($680 million) contract to build a gas pipeline in Vancouver.

Canadian energy-infrastructure operator TransCanada Corp. (TRP.T) awarded the contract, which is for the construction of two sections of the pipeline with a total distance of 166 kilometers, Vinci said.

Spiecapag will receive around 60% of the contract, while Macro Pipelines will receive the remainder, Vinci said.
