Shares of Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc. (NYS:SPCE) rose more than 3% in the extended session Tuesday after the company said it had a new flight window for its first powered flight in New Mexico that complied with state's guidelines to curb the spread of COVID-19. The company had paused its test-flight preparations. The new window opens Dec. 11, pending good weather and technical conditions, the company said. The flight will be "conducted by essential personnel only," the company said, with no media or guests onsite. "Only essential staff will be onsite to support the pre-flight operations ahead of the flight and the day of flight," the company said. Shares of Virgin Galactic had ended the regular trading day up 6.6%.
