U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin will travel to China to continue trade talks, the White House announced in a statement Wednesday. The negotiations will begin on Tuesday, and Chinese Vice Premier Liu He will lead the talks for his country, the statement added. The White House's announcement comes after a senior Trump administration official said Tuesday that a U.S. delegation was expected to travel to China for trade talks next week.
