Hall of Fame Resort, Dolphin Entertainment stocks nearly double after NFT partnershipShares of both Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Co. and Dolphin Entertainment Inc. nearly doubled in premarket trading Wednesday, after companies signed a partnership to offer non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Hall of Fame Resort (HOFV) said late Tuesday that the partnership with Dolphin will allow professional football and sports entertainment fans to buy and sell exclusive content developed by HOFV and its partners. "We are thrilled to be partnering with Dolphin, an emerging thought leader in the NFT market, to accelerate our entry into the space," said HOFV Chief Executive Michael Crawford. "This partnership will provide us with another opportunity to unlock additional value from the one-of-a-kind media projects we have in development." HOFV shares soared 95.5% ahead the open, and Dolphin's stock shot up 86.7%, after rocketing 236.3% on Tuesday following an announcement that the entertainment marketing and content development company had . Dolphin's stock has run up 439.1% year to date through Tuesday and HOFV shares have climbed 227.6%, while the S&P 500 has gained 4.1%.

Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment stock plummets after large stock offering prices at deep discountShares of Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Co. plummeted 54.0% toward a record low on heavy volume in morning trading Monday, after the resort, entertainment and media company centered around professional football announce the pricing of a large public offering of stock at a substantial discount. Volume spiked to 15.0 million shares, compared with the full-day average of about 4.2 million shares. The company said it's public offering of 17.86 million units, which consisted of one common stock and one warrant immediately exercisable to buy on share of common stock, priced at $1.40 per unit. The price per unit was 43.8% below Friday's stock closing price of $2.49. The company had 32.74 million shares outstanding as of Nov. 3. Earlier this month, the stock had soared after the company announced a media deal with Sports Illustrated Studios, the company added to its quarterly filing. The stock, which went public on July 2, has plunged 73.3% over the past three months, while the S&P 500 has gained 7.5%.

Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment's stock rockets as SI media deal overshadows new 'going concern' languageShares of Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Co. more than doubled (up 105.1%) on very heavy volume Thursday, after the football-focused entertainment company's announcement of a media deal with Sports Illustrated Studios overshadowed the "going concern" language added to the company's quarterly filing. Trading volume exploded to 73.2 million shares, enough to make the stock the most actively traded on the Nasdaq exchange, and multiples of the full-day average of around 145,500 shares. The company said that, in partnership with WaV and Sports Illustrated Studios, it will produce an original docuseries centered on the NFL Alumni Academy, the NFL Alumni Association's player development academy. Separately, the company disclosed in its 10-Q filing for the third quarter that given "recurring losses and negative cash flows, and given that the cash it currently has is less than upcoming debt maturities, there is "doubt about the company's ability to continue operations as a going concern." The "going concern" language was not included in its second-quarter 10-Q. The stock, , has tumbled 26.8% over the past three months, while the S&P 500 has gained 5.5%.
