Abercrombie & Fitch Co. /zigman2/quotes/206677024/composite ANF +3.59% announced its plan to shift to renewable energy at its New Albany, Oh. headquarters and its distribution centers starting in 2023. Abercrombie & Fitch has signed a 13-year agreement with Ohio-based AEP Energy to power its headquarters and two New Albany facilities, which will reduce about 16,000 metric tons of carbon annually. Abercrombie & Fitch brands include the namesake and Hollister. Shares have nearly doubled over the past year, up 96.2%, while the S&P 500 index /zigman2/quotes/210599714/realtime SPX +0.51% is up 25.5% for the period.
