The Senate on Tuesday confirmed Lina Khan, a critic of Big Tech companies, to the Federal Trade Commission in a 69-28 vote. The 32-year-old Khan currently teaches at Columbia Law School and is well known for a paper on Amazon.com Inc. /zigman2/quotes/210331248/composite AMZN -0.36% and antitrust. In her confirmation hearing in April, Khan signaled she would take a hard line toward tech giants.
