Shares of gold-mining company Barrick Gold /zigman2/quotes/209252292/delayed CA:ABX -3.37% [s:abx ] fell 5.3%, Goldcorp Inc. /zigman2/quotes/225792379/delayed CA:G +1.57% was down 3.7% , and Kinross Gold Corp. /zigman2/quotes/200423011/delayed CA:K -3.26% /zigman2/quotes/208295151/composite KGC -3.86% fell 6.7%. Gold futures for delivery in August tumbled 2.8% to $1,588.20 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.
