The Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading up Thursday afternoon with shares of Cisco and Chevron seeing positive momentum for the price-weighted average. The Dow (DOW:DJIA) is trading 40 points (0.1%) higher, as shares of Cisco (NAS:CSCO) and Chevron (NYS:CVX) have contributed to the index's intraday rally. Cisco's shares have gained $2.86 (6.1%) while those of Chevron are up $2.70 (1.7%), combining for a roughly 37-point boost for the Dow. Intel (NAS:INTC) , Dow Inc. (NYS:DOW) , and Boeing (NYS:BA) are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.59-point swing.
