Dialog Semiconductor PLC said Wednesday its fourth-quarter net profit and revenue rose on year as its supply chain remained stable despite the coronavirus pandemic.
The Frankfurt-listed chip maker posted a net profit of $57.8 million, up from $44.8 million, on revenue that rose to $438.7 million from $380.6 million.
Sales grew on the back of increased demand for components used in headphones, fitness trackers, notebooks and tablets, Dialog Semiconductor said.
Operating profit rose to $69./9 million from $53.7 million a year earlier, partly offset by the incremental operating expenses from the acquisition of Adesto and Creative Chips, the company said.
"Our supply chain has remained stable during the quarter, with most suppliers and our customers' contract manufacturers continuing to operate at almost full capacity," Dialog Semiconductor said.
