Shares of Chevron /zigman2/quotes/205871374/composite CVX +2.62% and Travelers /zigman2/quotes/206313935/composite TRV +1.74% have contributed to the index's intraday decline, as the Dow /zigman2/quotes/210598065/realtime DJIA +1.06% was most recently trading 91 points (0.3%) lower. Chevron's shares are off $2.05 (2.0%) while those of Travelers have fallen $2.30, or 1.5%, combining for a roughly 29-point drag on the Dow. JPMorgan Chase /zigman2/quotes/205971034/composite JPM +1.55% , American Express /zigman2/quotes/203805826/composite AXP +1.99% , and Verizon Communications Inc. /zigman2/quotes/204980236/composite VZ -0.20% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark results in a 6.58-point swing.
