Shares of McDonald's /zigman2/quotes/203508018/composite MCD +1.46% and Walt Disney /zigman2/quotes/203410047/composite DIS -0.12% have contributed to the index's intraday decline, as the Dow /zigman2/quotes/210598065/realtime DJIA +0.82% was most recently trading 199 points, or 0.7%, lower. McDonald's's shares have declined $5.28, or 2.2%, while those of Walt Disney have dropped $1.86 (1.9%), combining for an approximately 47-point drag on the Dow. Procter & Gamble /zigman2/quotes/202894679/composite PG -0.56% , Coca-Cola /zigman2/quotes/209159848/composite KO +0.34% , and JPMorgan Chase /zigman2/quotes/205971034/composite JPM +0.49% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the Dow's 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
