Aug 20, 2021 (MarketNewsVideo.com via COMTEX) -- The Invesco KBW Bank ETF (KBWB) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 5.5 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 1.9 million. Shares of KBWB were up about 0.4% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Bank of America (BAC), trading up about 0.4% with over 18.3 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Citigroup (C), up about 0.2% on volume of over 6.6 million shares. Signature Bank (SBNY) is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 1.8% on the day, while First Republic Bank (FRC) is lagging other components of the Invesco KBW Bank ETF, trading lower by about 0.9%.
