Amazon Prime Video has an assortment of new series and movies coming in November, including the first original series from its IMDb TV free streaming service.
The most prominent newcomers for Amazon.com Inc’s /zigman2/quotes/210331248/composite AMZN -8.43% streaming service appear to be “The Pack” (Nov. 20), a global adventure competition series with dogs and their companions, hosted by Olympian Lindsey Vonn; “James May: Oh Cook” (Nov. 13), in which the former “Top Gear” co-host turns to home cooking; “Ferro” (Nov. 6), a documentary series about Italian singer Tiziano Ferro; “Small Axe” (Nov. 20), an anthology of five original films set in London’s West Indian community; and “Uncle Frank” (Nov. 25), a family road-trip dramedy starring Paul Bettany.
There’s also “Alex Rider” (Nov. 13), teen spy thriller series that will air on IMDb TV (check your streaming device, you probably have free access somewhere), and “Wayne” (Nov. 6), a somewhat violent teen dramedy hopping from YouTube to Prime Video.
Also of note: The complete series of two excellent sitcoms, “Community”
(Nov. 8) and “Scrubs”
(Nov. 14); the 2019 Fox News-scandal drama “Bombshell”
(Nov. 26); and a smattering of modern classic movies, such as “Ronin,” “Couching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”
and “The Insider”
(all Nov. 1).
And don’t forget, “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” launches on Oct. 23.
