Emma Corrin stars as Princess Diana in Season 4 of "The Crown," coming to Netflix.

Hope you like holiday movies, because Netflix Inc. is going all-out for Christmas in November.

Looking to outdo the Hallmark Channel, Netflix /zigman2/quotes/202353025/composite NFLX +1.25%   has a slew of sappy-sweet rom-coms and warm family fare on tap, including “Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey” (Nov. 13), a musical starring Forrest Whitaker and Keegan Michael-Key; “The Princess Switch: Switched Again” (Nov. 19), starring Vanessa Hudgens in the sequel to 2018’s “The Princess Switch”; “Alien Xmas” (Nov. 20), about, well, aliens and Christmas; “Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square” (Nov. 22), a homespun family drama featuring 14 new Dolly Parton songs; and “The Christmas Chronicles: Part 2,” (Nov. 25), starring Kurt Russell as Santa. And that’s just a handful — there are a lot more.

Among non-holiday-themed stuff, there’s the much-anticipated fourth season of “The Crown” (Nov. 15), with Olivia Colman returning as Queen Elizabeth, as well as newcomers Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher and Josh O’Connor and Emma Corrin playing Charles and Diana, respectively. There’s also “Hillbilly Elegy” (Nov. 24), a drama about a family’s struggles in Appalachia, based on the J.D. Vance memoir. Netflix has Oscars aspirations for the all-star film, which stars Amy Adams and Glen Close, and is directed by Ron Howard.

Also look for Season 2 of the small-town drama “Virgin River,” a new season of the “Boss Baby” cartoon and “We Are the Champions,” a docu-series about quirky and little-known competitions (both Nov. 17).
