Jan. 6 committee schedules next hearing for Oct. 13

The House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol has scheduled its next public hearing for Oct. 13 at 1 p.m. Eastern , the panel announced Thursday. The bipartisan committee has been building a case against former President Donald Trump in a series of televised hearings, and next week's may be its final one before the committee publishes its findings.
