Legrand SA said Friday that its net profit and sales fell in the first half, hit by the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
The French electrical infrastructure manufacturer posted a 285.7 million euro ($338.5 million) net profit in the period, down 31% from the same period last year. Sales fell to EUR2.83 billion, the company said, from EUR3.22 billion in the first half of 2019.
The company expects an uptick in sales in the second half, subject to a favorable trend in the global health situation, it said.
