About 333,000 baby pacifiers have been recalled over a possible choking hazard.
A recall statement from the U.S. Consumer Product Saftey Commission says the recall is for Mushie & Co’s “FRIGG silicone pacifiers” that are frequently sold on Amazon /zigman2/quotes/210331248/composite AMZN +2.99% and at TJ Maxx.
The danger as described in the statement is “the base of the silicone nipple has a fine slit that can cause the nipple to detach from the plastic shield, posing a choking hazard.”
“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pacifiers,” the statement reads . Mushie and Co have received several incidents reports of the silicone nipple detaching, but no injuries have been reported, the company says.
