Proven fund managers deserve some leeway

Steve Goldberg of Tweddell Goldberg Investment Management says that investors who invest with great managers should give those fund jockeys the time and leeway to run their own race, rather than second-guessing the manager's skill during any sort of downturn. In a radio interview, Goldberg held to that logic in suggesting that investors buy Selected American Shares and the Muhlenkamp fund.
