Taco Bell taps Nike exec for brand leadership role

Taco Bell announced Thursday that it has tapped Sean Tresvant to be the fast-food chain's chief brand officer, effective Jan. 10, 2022. Tresvant was previously the chief marketing officer for Nike Inc.'s /zigman2/quotes/203439053/composite NKE -0.21% Jordan brand. In this role, he worked on the "Last Dance" documentary and helped with a Fortnite activation. Taco Bell is part of the Yum Brands Inc. /zigman2/quotes/209029767/composite YUM +0.12% portfolio. Yum stock has gained 16% for the year to date while the S&P 500 index /zigman2/quotes/210599714/realtime SPX +0.56% is up 21.4% for the period.
