Technip Energies NV said Friday that profit rose in 2020 and confirmed guidance for fiscal 2021.
The engineering-and-technology company posted net profit of 220.1 million euros ($268.3 million), compared with EUR153.2 million a year earlier.
Revenue was EUR5.75 billion, compared with EUR5.77 billion.
"Technip Energies delivered a strong operating and financial performance in 2020, in line with our earlier guidance," it said.
The company, which was spun off from TechnipFMC PLC earlier this month, said guidance for 2021 remains unchanged from the capital-markets day held in January. It expects adjusted revenue to be between EUR6.5 billion and EUR7 billion and adjusted recurring Ebit margin at 5.5% to 6%, excluding a one-off separation cost of EUR30 million. The effective tax rate is seen at 30% to 35%, it said.
