Palo Alto Networks Inc.’s chief financial officer is leaving cybersecurity for videogames.
Unity Software Inc. /zigman2/quotes/221035391/composite U +0.13% announced Wednesday afternoon that it had hired Palo Alto Networks /zigman2/quotes/207599953/composite PANW -2.70% CFO Luis Felipe Visoso — who was appointed to Unity’s board of directors in September — to serve as its new CFO. He will take the new position April 5, replacing Kim Jabal, who led Unity through its initial public offering in 2020 .
Palo Alto Networks will replace Visoso with Dipak Golechha, who joined the security-software company late last year as senior vice president of finance. Golechha previously spent 18 years with Procter & Gamble Co. /zigman2/quotes/202894679/composite PG -0.68% .
Visoso also spent formative years at Procter & Gamble, before becoming CFO of Amazon.com Inc.’s /zigman2/quotes/210331248/composite AMZN -2.54% cloud-computing arm Amazon Web Services. He joined Palo Alto Networks in July 2020, and now joins a software company aimed at videogame developers.
Visoso will resign his Unity board seat and responsibilities on its audit committee as part of the move, Unity disclosed.
