In trading on Wednesday, airlines shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 2.1%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Sun Country Airlines Holdings, off about 7.3% and shares of Delta Air Lines down about 5% on the day.

Also lagging the market Wednesday are shipping shares, down on the day by about 2% as a group, led down by Navios Maritime Holdings, trading lower by about 5.5% and Safe Bulkers, trading lower by about 5.1%.
