Herschel Walker, the Georgia Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, has a child with the woman who earlier this week said he paid for an abortion for her, according to a new report.

Walker, who has campaigned supporting a total ban on abortion, vehemently denied the allegation that he urged and paid for the unnamed woman’s abortion in 2009 after a report Monday by the Daily Beast , and threatened to sue. Walker added that he did not know who the woman was.

He has not sued yet, and on Wednesday the woman blasted Walker’s denial in another Daily Beast report .

The woman, whose name was being withheld to protect her privacy and security, said she was taken aback by Walker’s denial.

“Sure, I was stunned, but I guess it also doesn’t shock me, that maybe there are just so many of us that he truly doesn’t remember,” she told the Daily Beast. “But then again, if he really forgot about it, that says something, too.”

She said she had a years-long relationship with Walker, including after the abortion, and gave birth to one of Walker’s children, who Walker has publicly acknowledged, the Daily Beast reported.

Walker’s campaign declined to comment to the Daily Beast.

The woman told the Daily Beast that she could stay silent no more. “I’ve been very civil thus far. I keep my mouth shut. I don’t cause any trouble. I stay in the background. But I’m also not gonna get run over time and time again,” she said. “That’s crazy.”

After Monday’s report, Walker’s son, conservative social-media influencer Christian Walker, lashed out at his father. “I know my mom and I would really appreciate if my father Herschel Walker stopped lying and making a mockery of us,” he tweeted Monday. “You’re not a ‘family man’ when you left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence.”

After the Daily Beast report was published on Wednesday night, Christian Walker tweeted : “Wear a condom, damn.”

The Georgia Senate race between Walker and Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock has been seen as a toss-up, though a new poll released Wednesday found Warnock opening a double-digit lead in a survey taken before the Daily Beast report Monday. The winner could decide the majority in the Senate, which is currently split 50-50.

Walker’s campaign has been plagued by scandals and missteps, but the Republican challenger raised more than $12 million in the most recent quarter, his strongest fundraising quarter to date, the Associated Press reported Wednesday. Still, he lags behind Warnock, who raised $26.3 million last quarter, according to the AP.
