Shake Shack to expand in China Shake Shack Inc. said late Tuesday it is expanding its network of stores in China, as it and licensee Maxim's Caterers Ltd. are planning to open 10 restaurants by 2031, including locations in Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan and other areas. Shake Shack has 16 stores in China, including Beijing and other major cities. The new agreement increases the company's development commitment with Maxim's in China to 79 in the next 10 years. Shares of Shake Shack rose 1.4% in the extended session Tuesday after ending the regular trading day up 1.7%.

Kellogg expands food services partnership to include plant-based Incogmeato burgersKellogg Co. said Tuesday that it has expanded its partnership with Sodexo, a food services and catering company with a presence in 64 companies, to include plant-based Incogmeato burgers at more than 3,000 locations. Philip Morris to relocate corporate HQ to Connecticut from New York Tobacco company Philip Morris International said Tuesday it is relocating its corporate headquarters to Connecticut from New York. The move is expected to create about 200 jobs in the state and was facilitated by the office of Gov. Ned Lamont. The new headquarters is expected to be operational by the summer of 2022. Philip Morris is working to shift away from combustible smoking products to smoke-free alternatives and expects to be a majority smoke-free company by net revenue by the end of 2025. Shares were up 0.4% premarket and have gained 20% in the year to date, while the S&P 500 has gained 12.5%.
